Portrait Photography Class In Any Setting
The perfect place for beginners to get started and an excellent review for the more advanced hobbyist. Learn to shoot in aperture-priority, shutter-priority and manual, ultimately having more control over the final image. Finally understand your camera's settings. You will never want to shoot in "Auto" mode again!
F-stops, shutter speeds, exposure, depth of field, white balance, ISO, lenses, lighting, composition and perspective are all covered. Learn the artistic basics of photography, as well as the technical. Perfect for beginner to advanced hobbyist. This is a 2 hour lesson on the streets of Downtown Portland. We will be accompanied by a professional model and be using traditional and un traditional backdrops to create beautiful portraits. The focus of this lesson is how to effectively use your camera in any location and improve your portraits.
EQUIPMENT
DSLR or digital point and shoot required. Bring any lenses you have. No tripods.
COST

Outdoor Photography Class
At the heart of any good photograph is both the passion for the subject and your ability to uniquely capture it. If you love the outdoors, and want to take your photographs from pretty postcards to images that convey the magic of a moment, or the essence of a place, this workshop strives to develop your natural eye first, and then bring the technical skills of photography up to it. You will re-energize your photography with exciting ideas, practical insights, an in-the-field session and a chance to ask questions about your dslr and outdoor photography.
This class consists of a 2 hour on location photography lesson. We will be walking to various locations so please dress approprately and pack light. A dslr and tripod are necessary. Shutter release, and additional lens are recommended.
We provide the activities designed to change your perspective, sharpen your senses,and fine-tune your techniques.
